Our latest project from OppenFynn Innovation Labs Bangalore, which uses artificial neural networks to analyse financial data, including feature engineering, neural network creation, and strategy back-testing using two years of financial stock data. The feature engineering process, including the use of standard deviation, moving averages, percentage change, and intraday movement, along with popular technical indicators like Bollinger Bands, MACD, and Parabolic Stop and Reverse, and explained the creation of the neural network using MLP Classifier, achieving an accuracy of 58% on training data and 61.95% on testing data has been presented. Back-tested results have been presented, which demonstrated that the neural network strategy yielded excellent returns compared to a simple buy-and-hold strategy.

Strategy Backtesting
In this project, I have used popular technical indicators to build features. They are as follows:
Bollinger Bands
Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD)
Parabolic Stop And Reverse (SAR)
Used TA-LIB library to build these indicators.
For this project I have used a Simple 3 layer Neural Network with one hidden layer, the adjustment of weights is part of this project.
As an Example in this project Mid Cap NSE script Kajaria Ceramics has been used. This is strictly for education purposes only.

In the pursuit of finding the unknown object, you will end up hitting the obstacles, injuring yourself in the process, finally you end up finding the unknown object, realizing that it was the object you require, restart the process.

Excited to share a recent Machine Learning project where we explored the use of Decision Tree and Random Forest algorithms to generate trading signals based on historical stock market data. ๐

For this program, we selected BAJFINANCE as the ticker symbol, working with a rich dataset covering four years โ from January 2021 to January 2025. The model was able to achieve an accuracy of 57%, offering interesting insights into how machine learning techniques can be applied in financial market analysis. ๐
