What is VLSI?
VLSI is the process of making an Integrated circuit combining thousands of mini transistors into a single chip. This process is known as Very Large Scale Integration or VLSI. VLSI started in the 1970s and at that time communication technology and the complex semiconductors are at an early or developing stage.

Introduction to VLSI
A CPU of a computer one of the best examples of VLSI product. It is a successor to small-scale integration, medium-scale integration, and large-scale integration technologies. Nowadays the most widely used technology in component designing, integrated circuits, microchip processor is VLSI. L&T, Infosys, Wipro is already using VLSI design technology.

3What Are The Skills Required To Enter VLSI Market?
Basic knowledge of EDA tools (QuestaSim, Virtuoso, Modelsim, etc.), HDL (System Verilog, Verilog, and VHDL) are required. For Digital Design: Very good understanding of VLSI design flow is a prerequisite. Proficiency in Java, C++, and C. C/Java Debugger, Data Structures, Scripting Language Python, Tcl, Perl, and CShell, etc are also very important to get into good companies.
