India leads globally in research, ranked #03 worldwide, with a huge payoff potential. However, most institutions get ZERO real-world wins!

Why?

Not because we lack research. Because the system to convert it was never built.

Institutions don’t get grants because they don’t have pilots.
They don’t have pilots because there’s no seed funding.
And seed funding is treated as a cost, not an investment.

This loop has quietly killed Indian research translation for decades.

Until 14 HEI & Industry leaders at the hashtag Summit 2025 shattered it.

First, the shortage of quality faculty. Second, research still begins too late in the education journey.

We were at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 yesterday at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) booth: great energy, a lot of interesting conversations.

There is a clear momentum among institutions right now to be AI-first. What stood out even more was how actively universities are showing up in these spaces. From research labs to robotics to serious AI investments, the ambition is visible.

We presented Digii’s 𝗔𝗜 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿, built specifically for higher education. It brings together patterns across academic performance, engagement, and progression to understand the full student journey in context.

When institutions can see those patterns clearly, they can offer guidance earlier, more consistently, and at scale. Not just when a student raises a hand, but throughout the entire journey.

This is not a replacement for human judgment. It is a continuous layer of insight that strengthens it.
