le who is a guru and mother to Smt. Astha Godbole. Astha Godbole has been nourishing this Parampara with love, dedication and discipline. She being my guru is my mentor, guide and has instilled the same values in Smt Jigna Zaveri. The main goal of Smt Jigna Zaveri is to carry down the tradition with the same dignity and integrity. Jhankar believes in transferring down the tradition of dance in its purest form for generations to come. Jhankar is a branch of Layashala Pune and Indore, which is a certified institute to teach KATHAK dance. This institute was not possible without the incessant support of my guru Smt Ashta Godbole Karlekar. Astha Tai has always supported her students and has been spreading the art in its true form all around the world. This institute would not have been possible without the support of my husband Mr Mitul Zaveri and my kids Jiya and Mahin Zaveri. They have always been my strength and supported me in by beliefs and have shared the same love and discipline towards my art be it Bharatnatyam or Kathak.
