GREENWOOD HIGH STUDENTS EXCEL AT NATIONAL SCHOOLS TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 - PONDICHERRY

Shraddha Somanath (Grade 10) of Greenwood International School, Sarjapur, won the individual Gold Medal for her best performance of 100% Score at the 1st National Schools Team Chess Championship 2023 held at Pondicherry.

Vrishav V (Grade 9) won the Bronze Medal for his best performance.

Overall, 115 teams from various parts of India took part in this Mega Event.

Four teams from Greenwood High took part in the event. Two Teams in Under 18 Category and 2 Teams in Under 12 Category.

Snippets from the Healthy eating class party conducted by Grade 5 Science department.

We are very pleased to share that Arjun Malik, Grade 4A, has achieved School Rank 1 and International Rank 2 in the SOF International Math Olympiad Level II exams conducted at Greenwood High.

The International Rank 2 – Gold Medal and Certificate of Distinction for Performance Excellence at the Zonal Level is the most prestigious award that SOF has to offer to its top winners.

We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him the very best going forward.

We are delighted to share that our Grade 11 IBDP student, Amishi Agrawal, has recently published two of her research projects at IEEE and the ITM Web of Conferences.

The papers explore the intersection of math, computer science, and biology and proposes the classification of chest x-ray scans and brain tumors through deep learning based CNN and hybrid aquila optimizers respectively.

Congratulating Shloka Ashok, our IBDP Student Greenwood High International School in Bangalore, India, who has been awarded The Diana Award 2022!

This prestigious accolade is the highest honor a young person aged 9 to 25 years can receive for their outstanding social action and humanitarian efforts. The Diana Award was founded on Diana, Princess of Wales, and her belief that young people have the power to change their community, their country, and the world.

Shloka Ashok has truly gone above and beyond, creating positive change not only in her community but across the globe. Today we celebrate her dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the world!

We are delighted to announce that our students Abeer Agrawal of Grade 3C ICSE & Amishi Agrawal of Grade 11E, IB recently conducted a distribution drive for the supporting staff members of Greenwood High at the ICSE campus. They distributed food, groceries, goodies along with drinks as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work & dedication towards serving the school.

They are the real backbone of our schools and community in the larger picture, thus our students choose to acknowledge them with love. The smiles of these supporting staff members lit up the lawn and were truly heartwarming to see.

Lauding these two young kind hearts for their little token of appreciation, which is the least of what we can contribute to humanity and solidarity as a society.
