Geetha Govinda Samskrita Sangha (GGSS) is a non-profit organisation established by Smt. Ananthalakshmi Natarajan in 1976, with the blessings of the Jagadguru of Sringeri, with an aim to nurture and preserve samskrita and samskriti. For the past 37 years, GGSS has been conducting shloka and sanskrit classes for students of all age groups. There is no monetary fees for classes - however, regularity,

punctuality and humility are the fees that students & parents have to pay. The organisation is supported by volunteers who have been inspired by the pristine life and lofty ideals of Smt. Thousands of people have discovered a better way of life under her guidance at GGSS. GGSS aims to create an awareness of our culture and its values in children, and make them true cultural citizens of 'Bhaarata'. It coaches students for the sanskrit exams conducted by many reputed organisations like the Surasaraswathisabha (established by the jagadguru of Sringeri), Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and the government of Karnataka. The syllabus for shlokas includes many stotras of Adi Shankaracharya, the Bhagavadgita, and portions from the epics (Sankshepa-ramayanam from Srimadramayanam, Gopika gitam from Srimadbhagavatam, etc. GGSS also conducts dharmic activities like pujas during special occasions, rathotsavas, summer camps, annual Inter-school competitions(Pratibha), and the like. Currently, GGSS has twelve branches in Bangalore - at Vyalikaval, Vijayanagar, Vidyaranyapura, Wilson Garden, Dollars colony, Chickpet, Malleshwar, Thindlu, Mathikere, Prashantnagar, Soundaryanagar and Kumaraswamy Layout. It also operates from three branches in Tamilnadu (two in Chennai - Nanganallur and Tattvaloka, and one in Satyamangalam), and one each in Hyderabad (Gacchibowli) and Mumbai (Powai)

While the awaited day is coming near, let’s offer our prayers to the *Rama-janma-Bhoomi*, through *Rama-nama-lekhanam*, but in a fun and creative manner!

1. The competition is open for all age groups - *6 years- 120 years.*
2. The drawing must be in an *A4 size sheet.*
3. The outline of the drawing must be filed with *Ramanama-lekhanam in any language*, as given in the above link.
4. There is no particular theme for the drawing. The sky’s the limit for your creativity!
5. For submission: *Scan your drawings* as a jpeg or jpg and attach it to the google forms - http://tinyurl.com/ramanamaform .
6. *Last date for submission: 23-01-2024.*
7. The *results* for all the categories will be announced on *30th January, 2024.*
