Prapancha The World Of Music

On 10th May 2026, we celebrated our 41st anniversary and Shri Purandaradasa, Shri Thyagaraja Aradhana. We were delighted to honour Mrundangam Vidwan Shri Bangalore V Praveen and Vocalist/ Actress, Choreographer Vidushi Rohini Raghunandan. Chief guest Dr. Sameera Simha beautifully explained how music and culture shape our daily lives. Our patron Dr GV. Divakar touched upon the impactful work that HDR Foundation is doing in the field of women’s health.
We thank musicians from Balaji School of Music, Shruti Sindhura school of music, Gurukrupa Kala Kendra and other artists for performing the Pancharathna goshti-gaayana along with Prapancha’s students.
We thank all our members, music rasikas, volunteers to have made this celebration a great success.

“Divine Rythms” is a series of Lecture Demonstrations planned on our Indian classical percussion instruments. The first such Lec-dem will be on *Mridanga*, conducted by renowned Mridangam artist Vidwan P. Sreenivas Murthy.

The 40th anniversary celebrations of Prapancha The World of Music and Shri Purandaradasa, Shri Thyagaraja Aradhana on 11-May-2025 was indeed a memorable day.
Our Chief guest - Kargil War Hero Capt Naveen Nagappa truly moved us to tears with his inspiring words. Our hearts swelled with pride reminding us to be eternally thankful to the men in uniform 🙏🏽
We were also honoured to felicitate senior musicians Vidwan TR Srinath (renowned flautist) and Vidushi Revathi Sadashivam (renowned Veena artist). We also thank all artists who facilitated rendition of Pancharathna krithis.
