To celebrate National Doctors’ Day, a special event was organised for Grades Nursery to II, honouring the dedication and selfless service of doctors.
The occasion was made more meaningful by the presence of our guest, Dr. Chinmaya Patil — paediatrician, neonatologist, and a parent from the school community.
With warmth and simplicity, Dr. Chinmaya spoke to the young learners about the importance of health and hygiene through visuals, friendly interaction, and tips on habits like regular handwashing, eating right, staying active, and visiting the doctor for check-ups.
The kids listened with curiosity, shared their own stories, and learned why caring for their health matters.
The event wrapped up with a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Chinmaya for inspiring and educating the little ones — a beautiful way to nurture appreciation for doctors and healthy habits from an early age.

Father’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth, bringing together fathers and their children for a delightful morning of Fireless Cooking. The event gave young learners the perfect opportunity to express love and appreciation for their fathers through a fun, engaging activity.

Wearing matching chef hats, children and their dads teamed up to create a variety of healthy and tasty dishes. The menu featured colourful sandwiches, fresh salads, sweet chocolate and coconut balls, vegetable sushi, and more creative treats — all prepared without fire. The room was filled with laughter, excitement, and the delicious aroma of their creations.

To make the day even more memorable, each child presented a handmade Father’s Day card to their dad — a heartfelt touch that brought even more smiles.

The event beautifully celebrated not just fatherhood, but the joy of spending meaningful moments together. A day full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on Friday, 20 June 2025, with great enthusiasm across all grades, from Nursery to Grade XII. Students of all age groups participated in well-curated yoga sessions, designed to suit their developmental needs.

Young learners from Nursery to Grade II explored basic yoga postures and fun breathing exercises through stories, music, and imaginative play. Middle and senior students practised a series of asanas, pranayama, and relaxation techniques with focus and discipline.

Why Yoga Matters in Education?
Yoga builds physical strength, emotional balance, and mental clarity. It improves concentration, reduces stress, and fosters self-awareness and mindfulness. By incorporating yoga into the school day, students are encouraged to develop healthy, focused, and resilient lifestyles.

The celebration was a beautiful reminder of yoga’s timeless benefits, inspiring students to embrace it as a daily habit for balance and well-being. 🧘

The first day of school is always special — a day full of excitement, curiosity, and new beginnings!

The corridors came alive with cheerful laughter and warm smiles as little learners returned to their second home.

A vibrant photo booth captured their bright smiles, while a creative welcome craft helped them express themselves and feel right at home.

Classrooms and play areas buzzed with giggles, happy chatter, and joyful energy as children explored, played, and reconnected with friends old and new.

As this new academic year begins, we carry forward the spirit of curiosity, joy, and friendship.

“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden.”

Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, and endless possibilities!

We had the pleasure of attending Ms. Deepa's highly engaging and insightful session on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence and large language models (LLMs) in education.
The session provided a comprehensive understanding of how AI reshapes how educators teach, plan, and assess. Ms. Deepa effectively demonstrated how tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and other AI-powered platforms can be seamlessly integrated into our daily practice to enhance both teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
Key takeaways from the session included:
Curriculum Planning with AI: Using tools like ChatGPT to design age-appropriate and concept-driven lesson plans, enabling educators to focus more on pedagogy than paperwork.
Efficient Assessment Design: From rubric creation to formative and summative assessments, AI can help teachers create meaningful evaluations that align with learning outcomes.
Creative Content Delivery: Platforms like Canva, when powered with AI features, can help in designing visually impactful presentations, learning materials, and even interactive classroom content.
Personalisation and Differentiation: AI can support differentiated instruction by suggesting varied approaches to address diverse learning needs — a key step towards inclusive education.
Time-saving and Innovation: With AI handling repetitive tasks, educators can invest more time in innovation, collaboration, and mentoring students.
Ms. Deepa’s session was a powerful reminder that AI is not here to replace educators — it's here to empower them. When used thoughtfully, these tools can help redefine classroom experiences, improve planning efficiency, and elevate learning outcomes.
We look forward to exploring these tools further and embedding them meaningfully into our teaching practice.

At The HDFC School, Bengaluru, we believe that creating a truly safe environment goes beyond infrastructure — it’s about equipping our people with the right skills and knowledge.
On the 13th and 20th, we had the privilege of hosting Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Basic Life Support training sessions for our Housekeeping, Nannies, and Security staff. These sessions were conducted by Dr. Anjali Rao (Senior Consultant Anesthesiologist, Apollo Cradle) and Dr. Rahul Rao K (Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, Narayana Hrudayalaya) — proud parents and passionate professionals.
The sessions included a live demonstration, followed by hands-on training, where participants actively practiced techniques such as:
• Recognizing cardiac emergencies
• Performing high-quality chest compressions
• Responding with confidence in critical situations
We are proud to share that our frontline team is now better equipped to handle emergencies, ensuring an even safer environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anjali and Dr. Rahul for spearheading this invaluable initiative. Together, we are building a community that is not only caring, but also capable.
