What after B.Tech?
Hunting a Job:
Make a profile in all job sites and social job networking sites .Don’t miss any advertisement for fresher and don’t give up.
M.Tech or MS:
If you think you need to improve or need a higher degree to feel secure or gain higher positions at right time, you should look at all possible ways to crack GATE and think about M.Tech. If you are interested in having a foreign exposure and think your family can help and support you, then start preparing for GRE, TOFEL and start looking for universities that are suitable for that.
MBA Lets change the domain:
By the end we know whether we can stay in the same domain, stream, or field of engineering and improve or it is kind of wasting our time if we remain in the same engineering field and you decide to change your area of study. MBA is a very good alternative.
Research:
If you think you have patience and motivation for studying for several years ahead and work for a cool and successful career you should consider doing PhD after B.Tech, many IITs take admissions to PhD even right after B.Tech.
Start Your Own :
The exceptions can be to Start a company, be an entrepreneur and explore your world. If you have some hobby can make it a profession and make earning from that.
What if I don’t get any of these?
This is really an important question to be answered. I feel the alternatives are join some value added courses and in some good institutes.
Why to do M.Tech?
The first and foremost advantage of doing M.Tech is that you get time to think where things are going and how you can control them.
The second advantage of doing M.Tech is that you add a value to education and will definitely have benefit in the long run.
The third advantage is that you will get more insight into the subjects as this time you are mature enough to understand the subjects.
The fourth advantage is you will have good friends who are similar to you and trying hard to move ahead in life.
n so on...
Wish you all a great luck in your future endeavors.

Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) Karnataka:
This exam is counducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) for admission to M.Tech and other PG courses in its affiliated colleges.
Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET):
PGECET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on behalf of APSHCE (Andhra Pradesh state higher education council) for admission into M.E. / M,Tech./M.Pharm./M.Arch / M.Plg. (full time) in University and affiliated Engineering colleges in A.P.
Spray-On Antenna For Better Network Coverage Anywhere!
A Utah Start-up has introduced a new and creative way of boosting your antenna reception with a portable solution in the form of a Spray-On antenna. The company has aimed the product at smartphone users who experience the problem of poor cellphone reception. The Spray-On antenna could be sprayed on any host, such as a cloth and a tree and the host object would then act as a signal-booster.
The concept made its debut at Google’s ‘Solve For X’ event and clearly stood out among all entries for its efficient and unusual technique. The company, Chamtech Enterprises, demonstrated their device by spraying it on a tree and were able to send across a VHF signal up to 14 miles away using only the treated tree confirming how powerful the signal-booster is. The secret behind this can of antenna are thousands of nanocapacitors. When you spray the can on a surface, the nanocapacitors from the can align themselves and create a wireless antenna for devices in its range. So, instead of tall, traditional antennas, nano-paint on the walls could do the trick, allowing for easier portability.
The company has put forward the idea not just for infotainment but for sale too. Chamtech is planning to promote it as ‘Spray on Antenna Kit.’ A word on pricing would soon be available. Chamtech has been in talks with government customers but in hope for a wider customer base they are equally keen on mobile phone makers and manufacturers of medical devices.
Well then, it doesn’t really matter who has got the best network coverage now if you carry a can of antenna. Ah, so much for the competitive ads.

somewhere on their bodies.
Maybe not a tattoo but at least
have a picture of him hanging in
their office.
Tesla’s inventions make him
arguably the greatest electrical
engineer of all time.
His inventions include fluorescent
lighting, the Tesla coil, the
induction motor, and 3-phase
electricity. He developed the AC-
current generation system
comprised of a motor and a
transformer.
7. Archimedes
It was Archimedes who came up

Industrial Revolution
5. Hero of Alexandria
This man could have started the
Industrial Revolution in 50 AD

Prep for the Most Common Interview Questions
by Carole Martin
What Are Your Weaknesses?
This is the most dreaded question of all. Handle it by minimizing your weakness and emphasizing your strengths. Stay away from personal qualities and concentrate on professional traits: "I am always working on improving my communication skills to be a more effective presenter."
Why Should We Hire You?
Summarize your experiences: "With five years' experience working in the financial industry and my proven record of saving the company money, I could make a big difference in your company. I'm confident I would be a great addition to your team."
Why Do You Want to Work Here?
The interviewer is listening for an answer that indicates you've given this some thought and are not sending out resumes just because there is an opening. For example, "I've selected key companies whose mission statements are in line with my values, where I know I could be excited about what the company does, and this company is very high on my list of desirable choices."
What Are Your Goals?
Sometimes it's best to talk about short-term and intermediate goals rather than locking yourself into the distant future. For example, "My immediate goal is to get a job in a growth-oriented company. My long-term goal will depend on where the company goes. I hope to eventually grow into a position of responsibility."
Why Did You Leave (Are You Leaving) Your Job?
If you're unemployed, state your reason for leaving in a positive context: "I managed to survive two rounds of corporate downsizing, but the third round was a 20 percent reduction in the workforce, which included me."
If you are employed, focus on what you want in your next job: "After two years, I made the decision to look for a company that is team-focused, where I can add my experience."
When Were You Most Satisfied in Your Job?
The interviewer wants to know what motivates you. If you can relate an example of a job or project when you were excited, the interviewer will get an idea of your preferences. "I was very satisfied in my last job, because I worked directly with the customers and their problems; that is an important part of the job for me."
What Can You Do for Us That Other Candidates Can't?
What makes you unique? This will take an assessment of your experiences, skills and traits. Summarize concisely: "I have a unique combination of strong technical skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. This allows me to use my knowledge and break down information to be more user-friendly."
What Are Three Positive Things Your Last Boss Would Say About You?
It's time to pull out your old performance appraisals and boss's quotes. This is a great way to brag about yourself through someone else's words: "My boss has told me that I am the best designer he has ever had. He knows he can rely on me, and he likes my sense of humor."
What Salary Are You Seeking?
It is to your advantage if the employer tells you the range first. Prepare by knowing the going rate in your area, and your bottom line or walk-away point. One possible answer would be: "I am sure when the time comes, we can agree on a reasonable amount. In what range do you typically pay someone with my background?"
If You Were an Animal, Which One Would You Want to Be?
Interviewers use this type of psychological question to see if you can think quickly. If you answer "a bunny," you will make a soft, passive impression. If you answer "a lion," you will be seen as aggressive. What type of personality would it take to get the job done? What impression do you want to make?
