Learning Arc Learning Arc is an institute for the assessment and remediation of learning disabilities like dyslexia, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders.

Learning Arc has been operating in Bangalore since 2005 in the area of specific learning disabilities like Dyslexia, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity disorders. Sima Bhushan trained at the Hornsby Institute in London and has a diploma in assessment and remediation of learning difficulties in children and young adults. She has since established a large Resource Room which has gradually grown from strength to strength. She entered the market at a point in time when there was a huge lacuna in the identification and remediation of learning disorders and has since established resource rooms in multiple Bangalore schools and created significant awareness amongst parents and educationists. Today she has assessed and taught over 400 children over the past few years with the help of an able team.

Sima Bhushan -Mital has been working in the area of specific learning disabilities like Dyslexia and ADHD since 2005. She trained in the assessment and remediation of learning difficulties in children and young adults from the Hornsby Institute in the UK, which is now called Dyslexia Action. She has set up resource rooms in many schools in Bangalore.

In this session, you will:

- Learn how to identify the signs of Specific Learning Difficulties
- Discover the power of spelling rules and short vowels
- Work on the child's comprehension, writing skills and memory/cognitive skills
- Learn to build a good lesson plan
- Work with the instructor on actual examples from children's work.
