We introduce ourselves as one of the leading music organizations trying
to diffuse the rich heritage of Indian culture into the society, through the medium of classical music and classical dance. The academy organizes monthly concerts by both the established senior artists and upcoming young artists continuously for the past five years. It is a matter of pleasure that artists from all over the country and even from US, UK, Srilanka and Europe have performed here. In an effort to take music to the common man, most of these concerts are organized in the renowned Sri Ramakrishna Park at Girinagar, Bangalore. A few of these concerts are also organized in prestigious locations all over the city. Often, the academy has organized chamber concerts which have supplemented our efforts by creating awareness and also by successfully drawing huge audience from different cross sections of the society.

When Muthuswami Diksh*tar, one of Carnatic music’s sacred Trinity, stood before the quiet shrine of Lord Ganesha, he didn’t just compose a song. He captured a moment of supreme spiritual clarity.

Trained in the rigorous traditions of advaita philosophy and classical mudras, Diksh*tar envisioned Ganesha not merely as an obstacle remover, but as "Chitha Para Devathaasroopa" the physical form of pure consciousness itself.

It was from this realization that "Shree Gananaatham Bhajare" was born in the serene, captivating Raga Isa Manohari set to Rupaka Tala.

Diksh*tar’s compositions were renowned for their intellect and sanskrit precision. In Shree Gananaatham, he wove together poetic elegance and profound devotion, creating an invocation meant to steady the wandering mind before any great endeavor. He signed the piece with his iconic guru-guha mudra, grounding the kriti in a timeless lineage of spiritual mastery.

Centuries later, when Carnatic musicians open their concerts with these sacred notes on Ganesh Chaturthi, they aren't just performing a piece, they are stepping into the exact quiet stillness Diksh*tar felt when his fingers first struck the veena to honor the Lord of Beginnings.
