Is An *inborn talent* required to *Become An Author?*
When I mention that I train people to *Become an Author in 7 Days* many comment that it is imPossible. According to them being an author requires a *Special Inborn talent.*
In a way it is *Right.*
You need certain *Capabilities* and defenitly most of them are inborn. But you cannot call them *Talent*
For example you need to have a *fuctioning brain* ๐ Without that it is Impossible and that's something you are born with. But this too you cannot call a *Talent*
You need a *BMC* or Basic Minimum Commonsense. But this I am not sure whether it's inborn. ๐ Any way this also doesn't count as *Talent*
Next you need to have *basic language skills*. That is the skill to read and write. This is an acquired skill definitely. (If you are going for *Low Content Books* then, this skill is not that important๐)
Then where comes the *Talent?*
Everyone has multiple talents and capabilities.
But
Unless we try, we will never discover what all we have.
No body can learn driving without sitting on the driving seat inside a vehicle. I always thought I don't have the required talents, skills and capabilities to drive. So I never tried until I was 40. When I was learning I thought I will never be able to learn or get a license. But I was able to pass the driving test. Still I never thought I will be able to drive a vehicle alone. But now I am able to drive in the heavy traffic of *Bangalore*. Even now I have to think a few times before overtaking or reverse parking. I know I am not the best driver nor any way near to *Michael Schumacher*. But
_I am able drive my vehicle to the places I need to go._
Same with Authoring Books.
Great Genius Poets like *Veda Vyasa, Kalidaasa , or Valmeeki* are exceptionally talented. But we being an author and a poet is totally different.
There are many millions of drivers (which includes me too), who are not in anyway near to *Michael Schumacher*. Still all are drivers.
