Advancing Digital Mental Health in India: A New Milestone for Tele-MANAS!

The E-Health Research Centre (EHRC) at IIIT-Bangalore has officially signed a strategic partnership with Ideabytes Software India Pvt. Ltd. to drive the next phase of development and platform support for Tele-MANAS, India's national 24x7 tele-mental health helpline.

The Executive Committee (EC) and International Advisory Committee (IAC) In-person Meeting of the Centre for Open Societal Systems (COSS) was held at IIIT-Bangalore on June 2 and 3, 2026. The meeting focused on project updates, budget review, future engagements, and discussions with EC, IAC members, and COSS teams.

Today marked a significant milestone in the journey of IIIT-Bangalore as we proudly celebrated the Parisar Pravesh of the IIIT-Bangalore Extension Campus on Hosa Road. The occasion brought together the IIIT-B community to commemorate this important step in the institute’s continued growth and expansion.

The celebrations concluded with a traditional plantain leaf lunch, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared pride in this new chapter for the institution.
