And that's a wrap on the IIMB Business Conclave 2020! A special thank you to all the speakers, professors and all the attendees that made the event a huge success! We'll be back next year!

The Business Conclave is also very glad to announce that we will be making humble donations on behalf of all of the speakers to BOSCO, a non-profit that seeks to improve the lives of at-risk youth.

The curtains came down on the IIMB Business Conclave with a fireside chat between Dr Viral Acharya and Prof Chetan Subramanian on India's quest to restore financial stability. Dr Acharya's use of analogies from cricket and tennis really helped simplify critical economic concepts and helped attendees understand what India will need to do to get back on track in light of the pandemic.

The was thrilled to have Gautham Menon, National Award-winning producer and director, talk about "The Art of Business in the Business of Art". He spoke about the evolution of the movie industry with the advent of OTT and changing consumer dynamics and demographics.

Another riveting panel discussion at the but this time from the demand perspective and changing consumer behaviour featured Rashmi Shukla, Manisha Seewal and Siva Ganapathi and was moderated by Prof R Srinivasan. Their real-world perspectives on the evolution of consumer characteristics, needs and expectations and their effect on both B2B and B2C business models was both enlightening and truly memorable.

The IIMB was honoured to have Kulin Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind Ltd address us as part of the . He walked us through the amazing journey of Arvind Ltd just in advance of and during the pandemic and their commitment to their business by finding new avenues for growth and adapting their existing value chain to optimize their performance to move into the world.

B Srinivasan, MD, Vikatan Group and Prof R Srinivasan had a riveting discussion on the journey of the Vikatan Group, their continued efforts to remain relevant in an increasingly digital world, and yet, provide the quality, clarity and depth of information that their print mediums have been renowned for the last 95 years. He gave attendees a truly insightful view into a legacy content house moving from print-first with a digital presence to a digital-first media-agnostic organisation.
