There are values children absorb without being taught.
How we speak to the person who serves us food. Who we look at when we walk through a gate. Whose name we bother to learn.
At SVIS, children grow up around adults who greet the gardener, thank the housekeeping staff, and know that the uncle at the gate has a family waiting at home. The respect isn't performed. It's lived.
Slowly, the children begin to do the same.
They learn that work of every kind holds dignity. That a school runs on many hands, not a few. That gratitude isn't a sentence you memorise; it's a way of seeing people.
This Labour Day, we honour every hand that helps our children grow.

Most school memories live in notebooks. These ones ended up on our walls. All year, children walked past empty corridors, not knowing that by the end of it, those same walls would carry something they made. Something that came entirely from them.
