The main aim of having our own Toastmasters club is to help each other in overcoming one of the greatest fears of mankind, public speaking. It is a well-known fact that 90% of the people in the world have stage fear. This fear can result in lack of confidence and can hinder the ability of one to be successful. This is particularly true in a corporate atmosphere, where most of the work we do has to be presented to the team in a convincing manner. Goal:
By taking part actively in this forum, members can benefit from each other, know the skills they are lacking, and grow as an individual. Achievement:
Toastmasters Xpressions since inception has invited many guest speakers and has received invaluable inputs from them. Members have received plethora of tips and guidance to improve their skills and many have found inspiring leaders to look up to. By meeting like-minded people in an environment conducive to learning and growth, many of our members have already experienced success in their professional lives.
