This time last year, we were at the NEEV Literature Festival 2025, celebrating books, quizzes and some wonderfully curious young readers.

Students from Grades 4 to 6 took on an incredible reading challenge. 30 books in just 3 months. And then put their reading to the test through a quiz specially created for the NLF Reading Challenge. From the virtual preliminary rounds to the semi-finale, it was amazing to see their love for books come through.

We’re thrilled to be working with the NEEV Literature Festival for the 4th year and can’t wait to see what this year’s young readers have in store!

As part of the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Salar Jung , QShala conducted an inter-school quiz for students of Grades 6 to 8, bringing together young learners for a lively exploration of Hyderabad’s history and heritage.

The questions took students through the story of Hyderabad and the Liberation, the legacy of Salar Jung, and the fascinating history and trivia behind artefacts housed at the museum. It was wonderful to see students engage with history not as something confined to textbooks, but as a collection of stories, objects, people, and questions waiting to be explored.

A special thank you to Ms. Priyanka Francis, Director, Salar Jung Museum, for helping make this collaboration possible and to Ms. Joyoti, Curator at the museum, for her constant support and encouragement throughout.

Our quizmaster Archana Dinesh brought the questions to life, while the QShala team worked behind the scenes to make the entire experience come together.

We’re grateful to have been part of an initiative that brought history, heritage, learning, and Quriosity together for the next generation.

The joy of quizzing has never been just about getting the right answer. It’s in cracking the answer. That moment when a clue clicks, two seemingly unrelated ideas suddenly connect, and you see a child arrive at an answer in a way that is entirely their own.

In the latest conversation from the QShala Quiz League, we’re in conversation with Bookosmia, a platform that celebrates children’s creativity, voices and ideas.

For organisations like Bookosmia and QShala, the greatest thrill is seeing children make those unexpected connections, ask the questions we didn’t think to ask, and break out of the moulds of thinking we so often fall into.

We’re in the final week of the QShala Quiz League, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our 25 finalists each from Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7! 🎉

They’ve made it through rounds of quizzing with children from across India, tackling questions across general knowledge, culture, science, art, history and plenty more along the way. Now, it all comes down to the final stretch.

As we get closer to the finale, we sat down with Archana Mohan, co-founder of Bookosmia, a publication made by children, for children, to talk about their relationship with curiosity, reading and learning, and the role books can play in helping young minds explore the world around them.

Bookosmia has also chosen a wonderful selection of books for the QShala Quiz League prize pool, making reading and curiosity part of what our finalists take home from the league.

Here’s to 100 curious young quizzers, one final week, and lots more questions waiting to be asked.

QShala was at Even Healthcare for an afternoon of fun quizzing and team challenges!

We started with a few rounds of Kahoot, with the competition staying close right till the final round as everyone battled it out to take the top spot. We then moved on to the Balloon Tower Challenge, where everyone was divided into teams and had to work together to build a tower using balloons. Every few minutes, a new twist was added — from not being allowed to talk to teammates to using only one hand — making the challenge even more fun.

A special shoutout to Aditi for hosting the quiz and the Balloon Tower Challenge.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the session so much fun!
