PISat is a low cost nanosatellite, designed and developed at the Crucible of Research and Innovation Laboratory of PESIT (PES Institute of Technology), Bangalore, India. The PISat project actually consists of a consortium of Indian colleges, with the support of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and IE (Institution of Engineers) of India,to provide a hands-on environment for students in all aspects of satellite building and operations.

PISAT has been successfully tracked at 10:30 am today at ISTRAC....we received stable telemetry and all telecommands were through...All initialisations done!!! Watch this space for more updates...

Hello everybody,
The big day is finally here...its an exciting tonight cause tomorrow we will witness a milestone in PES History.....PISAT is all set to be launched. It will be launched from Shriharikota in PSLV- C35 along with ISRO's main satellite. The launch will be aired live at MRD block from 9 am. We request you all to be present at MRD block and encourage the hard work of the team.
"This is a historic movement for all and we would like you to spread the word among your friends and family."
The launch will be aired on *26-9-2016* on DD National at 9:00 AM

PISAT had a official flag off from ISAC, Bangalore on 11th September 2016 at 10:30 AM in the presence of ISAC Director, Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, SSS PD Mr. Amareshwar Khened, and other ISRO officials. PISAT was shipped to SHAR safely on 11th September 2016 by a team of 11 from PES University from 11th till 17th September. PISAT is interfaced with ejection mechanism and integrated to PSLV C-35 which is scheduled for launch on 26th September 2016.
