Asia Pacific World School conducted an advanced Cyber Safety and Security Training for teachers on 3rd January 2026, facilitated by Ms. Shweta S. and Ms. Manjula.
The program aimed to strengthen educators’ understanding of evolving cyber threats and to reinforce responsible, ethical, and secure digital practices within the academic environment.
The session addressed the prevalent misconception of digital privacy, emphasizing that data stored on digital platforms is inherently vulnerable. Participants were sensitized to the shared responsibility of educators and parents in identifying behavioural indicators of cyber distress among students, enabling timely intervention and sustained support.
Key focus areas included cyber ethics and legal frameworks, intellectual and digital property rights, data privacy and protection, network and device security, safe internet usage, online content moderation, and cyberstalking prevention. The training also covered emerging cyber frauds, social engineering tactics, and Wi-Fi-related threats, along with practical preventive and response strategies.
In addition, emphasis was placed on developing cyber awareness frameworks, digital footprint management, secure online communication, and reporting mechanisms for cyber incidents. Teachers were encouraged to integrate cyber safety awareness into classroom practices and parent outreach initiatives.
The program was highly impactful and capacity-building, equipping educators with the knowledge and skills to safeguard digital environments, guide students effectively, collaborate with parents, and nurture responsible, ethical, and cyber-safe digital citizens.

From the delicate strokes of Madhubani art to the reflective beauty of Aranmula Kannadi, from the vibrant threads of Phulkari embroidery to the intricate elegance of Meenakari work and the regal charm of Muga silk sarees — every presentation was a heartfelt tribute to India’s timeless artistry.
Their well-researched insights, creative visuals, and confident narration brought our cultural heritage to life, leaving the audience inspired and awed.

The session will be led by Dr. Priyadarshini Ishawar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Marathahalli Sub-Division.
This initiative aims to empower our teenage students with crucial awareness on staying safe in the digital world and making informed choices.

The Investiture Ceremony of Asia Pacific World School for the academic year 2025-26 was held on 11th July 2025. Col. RKD Kapur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony began with flag hoisting and salutes, followed by the school prayer, song, and national pledge. Newly elected council members, including Head Boy Anshuman Sahu, Head Girl Shreya Unnikrishnan, and School Captain Jordan Ganakan, took their oaths. Inspiring speeches, a disciplined march past, and the national anthem marked a memorable conclusion.
