Duration : 60 mins
Time 7 pm to start with a short break for 10 mins for refreshments in between.

Concept Note
Continuing our tradition of presenting eminent and notable artists in various fields of art, music and dance, through special concerts, Aamod Centre of Liberal Arts is organizing a piano recital ' Immerse' with the renowned Japanese concert pianist Mr. Takafumi Mori from France on Saturday the 31st of October 2015 at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore auditorium sponsored by of our patron Alliance Francaise de Bangalore and on the Essex piano sponsored by Furtados Music . The concert begins at 7 pm with a short break and refreshments in between.

Aamod has been spreading Western Classical music for the last 8 years by way of structured classes and master classes in western classical instruments in general and piano in particular and also by way of top class recitals in piano. It has been a daunting task as the number of professionals that teach classical music in a proper fashion is but limited in our country and so is the limitation to the availability of top class artists as well.

Though Aamod has made substantial progress with a good number of students while building an audience for this art form, it is felt that students are learning with a challenge to acquire a certain skill in a certain duration of time but not aware of certain nuances such as its history and the art of piano playing.

And for that, listening and understanding classical music filtered by styles, by composers , by genres and so on would be necessary for the learners as well as the audience for whom the learners and professionals will perform.

That said, and taking into consideration the limited facilities that are at our disposal, Aamod has embarked upon a project to host a series of piano concerts which will take learners of Western Classical Music on a step by step journey of understanding and listening to such music by live recitals performed by national and international concert artists .

For this purpose, our Japanese pianist from France and the pianist on special duty at Aamod , Takafumi Mori, will be collaborating with Aamod for this task through the series called “IMMERSE”.

Aamod is specially inviting all piano lovers and piano learners to attend this event and all other IMMERSE events and make the IMMERSE series a very popular and useful one.
This particular one is on Titled and Untitled Music and will comprise of pieces of great composers which many of us are rearing to listen . Duration one hour .
