Vision Screening & Eye Health Awareness Initiative
As part of our commitment to wellbeing, our school organized a three-day Vision Screening and Eye Health Awareness Initiative from 12th to 15th May 2026.
Led by Dr Lavanya, a valued member of our parent community, and her dedicated team, the programme included comprehensive eye check-ups for staff and vision screening sessions for students, enabling the early identification of potential visual concerns.
Students from Grades 1 to 5 also participated in an engaging session on eye care, healthy screen habits, and overall visual wellness, empowering them to adopt mindful practices in their daily lives.
This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering holistic development by supporting both health and learning.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr Lavanya and her team for their valuable contribution. We also appreciate Ms. Sneha Chabria for her exceptional efforts in organizing the programme so seamlessly.

A Meaningful Step Towards Understanding Adolescence
As a meaningful continuation of our Grade 5 unit on Adolescence and Puberty, students participated in a deeply enriching Health Talk session led by distinguished medical professionals, Dr. Bhargavi Brahmakal and Dr. Sumati Kumatgi from Sagar Chandramma Hospitals.
This thoughtfully curated session served as more than just an academic extension. It became a safe and reflective space where young learners began to understand and embrace the journey of growing up. Through sensitively conducted breakout sessions, boys and girls were guided separately, ensuring comfort, openness, and age-appropriate dialogue. The speakers carefully addressed the multifaceted changes of adolescence, including physical, emotional, and social aspects, helping students recognize that these transitions are both natural and unique to each individual.
Beyond awareness, the session emphasized the importance of nurturing oneself holistically through balanced nutrition, personal hygiene, emotional resilience, and mindful lifestyle choices. What truly set the experience apart was the warm and empathetic approach of the speakers, which encouraged students to move past hesitation and engage in honest and meaningful conversations.
The interactive discussions and thought-provoking question-and-answer segment became a moment of empowerment, where curiosity was met with clarity and uncertainties were transformed into understanding. Students were not only informed but also reassured, gaining the confidence to navigate this transformative phase with self-awareness and positivity.
