Our Grade V Jnanites visited Federal Bank on 10th September 2026, where they explored the basics of saving and enhanced their understanding of financial literacy.

The visit provided students with valuable out-of-classroom exposure to the fundamentals of managing money, the importance of saving, and developing smart financial habits.

Why do our veins look blue when blood is red? 🩸🔍

Here’s the science behind it.

Blood is always red. Oxygen-rich blood is bright red, while oxygen-poor blood is a deeper red.

So why do veins appear blue or green beneath our skin?

It’s all about how light interacts with our skin and tissues. Different wavelengths of light are absorbed and scattered differently, making the veins beneath the skin appear blue or green to our eyes.

👮 Learning Through Community

Our Grade IV Jnanites took their learning beyond the school walls during a visit to Soldevanahalli Police Station, where they explored police services, safety measures and the role of the police in the community.

Through conversations and first-hand observations, our young learners gained valuable insights into safety, responsibility and civic awareness.

Where Learning Meets the Real World

Our Prep II and Grade I Jnanites explored the world of farming on September 10 during a visit to poultry demonstration unit.

From learning about farming practices and tracing the origins of our food to interacting with the farm animals, our young learners made a connection between the classroom and the world around them through first-hand experiences.

On 9th September, our Prep 1 Jnanites explored a new environment during their visit to a church. ⛪
