Connecting Research Across Borders: JNCASR × DAAD
JNCASR was pleased to host an interactive session with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) on 15 September 2026 at AMRL Hall, JNCASR, bringing together students, postdocs and faculty members of the JNCASR for an engaging interaction on international research opportunities and academic exchange with Germany.

The session featured Ms. Suganya Tamalapadi, Regional Officer, DAAD – German Academic Exchange Service, who provided valuable insights into the range of research, fellowship, funding and academic exchange opportunities available for researchers and students in Germany.

The interaction highlighted various avenues for strengthening Indo-German academic and research collaborations, including opportunities for research visits, fellowships, doctoral and postdoctoral engagement, and collaborative research with German universities and research institutions.

Organised by the Office of PAIRs and Dean, Corporate Affairs, JNCASR, the session brought together faculty members, scientists, postdoctoral researchers, research scholars and students.

The presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A, providing participants with an opportunity to understand DAAD programmes, eligibility, application processes and funding opportunities relevant to their academic and research interests.

The interaction also provided a valuable platform for the JNCASR research community to explore pathways for greater international research exposure and engagement with the German academic and scientific ecosystem.
