Delighted to host Abbos who is an incredible percussion player from Uzbekistan. Hailing from a musical family, he has mastered the art of playing Doyra. He has taken this art to a world stage and also tutors many learners across countries.

We invite you all to come and experience the intersting 'Tales of Doyra' by Abbos!

It is with a sense of immense pride we share the news that our Guru and legendary musician of India - Sri Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma has been conferred with this year's prestigious Chowdiah Award from the Academy of Music, Bengaluru. The award presentation will happen on 9th November, 6:00 PM at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall. Kindly be there and savour the moment with us.

A little information about this great vidwan -

Anoor Suryanarayan was the second generation of Artists from Anoor Lineage.

Titles Bestowed upon him -

GANA VISHARADA
NAADA CHINTAMANI
KARNATAKA KALA TILAKA

He was an active part of Orchaestra that played music for Sri Udaya shankar’s dance troupe. ( Uday Shankar was the elder brother of BharathRatna Sitar Maestro Pt.Ravishankar )

Anoor Suri has also composed and sung Music for great Dancers like -

Sudha Rani Raghupathy
Chitra Vishweshwaran
U S Krishna Rao
Maaya Rao didi
Acharya Kaushik
.. and many many more of those times

His compositions for dance is heard and echoed even to this day.
He was one of the very few artists who could sing and do nattuvangam simultaneously.

He is no doubt an inseparable part of Karnatic classical music and dance.

Excited to share that we are hosting TRANSCENDENT TALAS directed by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. Trichy Sankaran. He will be presenting the concert along with Raman Kalyan on flute, VVS Murari on violin, Dr. Curtis Andrews on percussions and Dr. Jared Burrows on guitar.
