“Igniting Budding Minds of Social Work Students” held on 12th & 13th March 2026 at Yuvapatha, Jayanagara, Bengaluru. The Students of MSW 1st year attended the Symposium and had insights in to the various sessions.

1st Year MSW Students bagged the 2nd Prize in University Level Poster Presentation Competition on the theme Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society held on the Ocassion of World Social Work Day 2026 Celebration, on 25th March 2026, at the Department of Social Work Bangalore University.

The Department of Social Work has celebrated World Social Work Day 2026 with Theme: Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society on March 17th 2026 at Dept of Social Work.
Dr. Shivaraja Byadarahalli, key Speaker on the occasion spoke on the need of social unity among the people amidst fraction elements and forces in the Society.

The Students of Social Work Dept performed a Social Awareness Skit on Rebuilding Unity in Society and Sang a Social Awareness Song.
