The internet loves this trick: Reverse it, subtract the smaller from the larger, reverse the result, and add them together. Most videos claim this works "Every. Single. Time."
Here is the mathematical truth they leave out:
โ It completely breaks for palindromes (like 595). You just get 0.
โ ๏ธ It requires a hack for numbers like 201 (where the first and last digits are 1 apart). You'll get 99, and to make the trick work, you HAVE to write it as a 3-digit number: 099. (099 + 990 = 1089).

For everything else? Pure algebraic magic. You will always land on 1089.

Zero factorial equals ONE. Not zero. ONE. Here's the proof.
Most people assume 0! = 0. But it's actually 1, and the reason is beautiful.
Step 1: What IS factorial?
n! means multiply all the way down to 1.
5! = 5 ร 4 ร 3 ร 2 ร 1 = 120
4! = 4 ร 3 ร 2 ร 1 = 24
3! = 3 ร 2 ร 1 = 6
2! = 2 ร 1 = 2
1! = 1
Step 2: Spot the pattern โ n! = n ร (n-1)!
4! = 4 ร 3! โ 4 ร 6 = 24 โ
3! = 3 ร 2! โ 3 ร 2 = 6 โ
2! = 2 ร 1! โ 2 ร 1 = 2 โ
Step 3: Now walk BACKWARDS.
We know: 1! = 1
By the rule: 1! = 1 ร 0!
So: 1 = 1 ร 0!
Divide both sides by 1 โ 0! = 1 โ
It HAS to be 1. Any other value breaks the entire pattern.

๐ฒ Pick ANY 3-digit number. The answer is ALWAYS 1089.
Here's how it works โ let's try with 732:
Step 1: Pick a 3-digit number โ 732 (first and last digits must differ)
Step 2: Reverse the digits โ 237
Step 3: Subtract the smaller from the larger โ 732 โ 237 = 495
Step 4: Reverse the result โ 594
Step 5: Add them up โ 495 + 594 = 1089 โ
Try it with 521:
521 โ 125 โ 521 โ 125 = 396 โ 693 โ 396 + 693 = 1089 โ
Try it with 943:
943 โ 349 โ 943 โ 349 = 594 โ 495 โ 594 + 495 = 1089 โ
It works EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. No matter what 3-digit number you pick (as long as the first and last digits are different).

๐คฏ Can you make 10 using only four 3s and any mathematical operations?
Most people try addition and multiplication first:
โ 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12 (too big!)
โ 3 ร 3 + 3 โ 3 = 9 (too small!)
But here's the trick โ think in fractions! ๐ก
Step 1: Write it out โ 3 ร 3 + ยณโโ = ?
Step 2: Multiply โ 3 ร 3 = 9
Step 3: Divide โ ยณโโ = 1
Step 4: Add โ 9 + 1 = 10 โ
The key insight? ยณโโ = 1. Once you see that, the rest falls into place!

Most students freeze at 2ยณยฒ. But here's the key: when you take the square root, the exponent gets cut in half. โ(2ยณยฒ) = 2^(32รท2) = 2ยนโถ. That's it โ the power does the work for you.
Don't forget the ยฑ sign! Every square root gives TWO answers: t = +65,536 AND t = โ65,536. Missing the negative root is the #1 mistake examiners catch.
