Stories that inspire hearts, lessons that shape character. 🌿
In the enchanting habitat setup, Our Year 1 learners were immersed in the magical tale of The Little Girl Tara. The children listened attentively as the story unfolded, narrating and enacting each character with remarkable enthusiasm. Tara, a kind-hearted girl living near the forest, captured their imagination as she helped a rabbit that transformed into a fairy. The fairy’s gift of a magic wand led Tara to heal a wounded baby elephant, teaching the timeless lesson that kindness always brings rewards.
The learners not only enjoyed the narration but also experienced the joy of embodying the characters, making the session lively and memorable. Their enactments brought the story to life, fostering creativity, empathy and collaboration. This unique storytelling experience in the habitat area allowed them to connect deeply with the moral “One good turn deserves another”- instilling values of compassion and generosity. It was a joyful and meaningful session that blended listening, narration and performance, leaving the children inspired by Tara’s kindness and caring attitude.
