These training are designed as goal oriented instructor training programs specially for the association instructors of South India to align them with the JKA technical standards and prepare them for various JKA qualification exams.

These sessions also focus on teaching methods for various groups as well as focussed talks on developing leadership to run a JKA branch.

This time the instructors participated from Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and also from the eastern state of Jharkhand.

Over the two days, Somnath Sensei assessed the progress of all instructors and provided critical inputs. Sensei has also mentioned that he would closely monitor improvement of the instructors quarter by quarter, while providing individual guidance to each instructor.

A leadership session was also held on the first day, which outlined marketing strategy, broad aspects of financial management, besides laying emphasis on technical skills as a JKA instructor.

Sensei has emphasised on the importance of enriching the foundation via practise of kihon in the proper manner and did a quick revision of Heian Katas. There were also deep dive sessions on Tekki Shodan and Kanku Dai as part of the teaching scope.
