I have grown up to become self- reliant adult just like all of you out there. I have become successfully independent and I am doing better at becoming Interdependent. Striving for harmony and balance.

Do you hear your parents here?

During my growing up years, I have heard this so many times everyday, that I would get so annoyed to be doing this. Today I consciously make an effort to follow through knowing how important this is for my general wellbeing.

Are you in a hurry??

Most often I have been asked by my clients how long do they need to practice mindfulness or self-care to get results. Have you also tried to adapt to a new routine and thought when you will start seeing results, and when you do so stop as you feel you have achieved the goal.

I follow a particular diet and that is my lifestyle. It is not about how long I need to do it, I have realised the benefits and changed my mindset and adapted to the new diet lifestyle. In the same way self-care is my lifestyle. I choose to take care of myself every day and yes the diet is absolutely part of self-care routine.

Specific Goal setting!

Now that we are nearing 2021 I'm sure some of you might be thinking of your new year resolution as a ritual.
Every year as we do this are we able to achieve it or sustain what we plan for the entire year?
We have to look at setting short term goals as we set the big goals for ourselves. Which helps us to see our daily achievement and keep moving forward.
It's always important to make Teeny- Tiny goals for daily basis that helps us bece more consistent which will help us achieve our goals.

We did have self care practices in various forms till the covid times and as we got squeezed into lack of Emotional space this year. We realise the importance of it even more.
