APS Kamaraj Road had the privilege of hosting Aasha Malviya, an inspirational cyclist known for her incredible endurance and dedication to promoting women's empowerment through sports. It is a rare event to have someone who inspires by her mere grit and perseverance. Her visit was a highly anticipated event, generating excitement and curiosity among students and staff alike and her first word a resounding Bharat Mata Ki Jai let to a thunderous round of applause as the ground reverberated with the sound of energy, vigour and patriotism.
Aasha then took the stage to share her story. She spoke about her early struggles, the challenges she faced in pursuing her passion, and how she overcame societal barriers to achieve her dreams. Her narrative was filled with anecdotes of perseverance, resilience, and the importance of believing in oneself. Coming from humble beginnings from a small village in Madhya Pradesh Aasha chose not to allow her modest background to define her personality. The students listened intently, captivated by her experiences and the lessons she imparted.
Aasha Malviya, an advocate for women's rights and an accomplished athlete, has cycled across various challenging terrains, breaking stereotypes and inspiring countless individuals with her journey. She has covered 26,000 Kilometres across the country to raise promote Women Safety and Women empowerment.
She has now embarked on a journey to take forward the message of brotherhood and patriotism which will conclude in Kargil in honour of the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Towards ensuring a Healthy World, a Nutrition Conclave 2024 was organised at Mount Carmel School Bangalore on 05th March 2024. The event brought together Thought Leaders and experts to forge a path towards improving Child Health and education.

Ms Kavitha K, Principal, Army Public School Kamaraj Road Bangalore was invited as a key panelist in the event to participate in a panel discussion on "Empowering Children to lead the battle against Malnutrition & revolutionising School Curricula through Nutrition integration".
The Principal shared her insights on the criticality and importance of ensuring a well fed child and it's crucial relevance in the present times. She also deliberated upon certain impactful strategies that can be adopted by the Schools to ensure the same as well as raise general awareness on it.

The thought provoking panel discussion came up with viable ideas and methods, enriching our Nation's Journey towards a healthier future for our children.

Since the examination season is approaching, there were specific requirement projected by the mentee school to train students on tackling examinations as well as teach them basic tricks to solve mathematics questions quickly.

On 22nd of February, two teachers, Mrs. Hemalata and Mrs Kiran, of Army Public School Kamaraj Road Bangalore visited St Aloysius Higher Primary School (mentee school) to teach and give certain tips for the upcoming annual exam of class 5 th students.

Mrs Kiran took revision and doubt clearing classes of grammar in English while Mrs Hemlata took a session on the Maths topics and explained important mathematical operations and tricks to accomplish them at a shorter time frame.

The teachers also motivated the students to stay calm and focused during the exam days and approach each exam carefully but confidently.

The students’ responses were extremely positive and they asked several questions which were solved or clarified.

Baiyzaa Rasheed -3D of Army Public School Kamaraj Road Bangalore secured the gold medal of Distinction in National Science Olympiad at Zonal Level

Substance abuse is a serious threat to a developing nation and it significantly hampers the potential of it’s future generations. In India, about 14% of the population is victim of substance abuse as on 2022. To counter the same and spread awareness, the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) initiative has been launched.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) is the initiative of the Govt of India Ministry of Social justice in collaboration with The Art of Living to tackle the problem of substance abuse across the country.

As a part of this initiative a Workshop cm Awareness Event was organised at Army Public School Kamaraj Road Bangalore on 09th February 2024. 04x Faculty members of Art from Living, Bangalore, conducted the event through lectures, activities and multimedia aids.

Students of class 9 attended the event and expressed their views on the devastating effects of substance abuse. The students were shown videos on the subject and the far reaching ill effects of substance abuse were elaborated upon. Physical exercises to enhance concentration and focus were practiced.

On behalf of Birth Anniversary of the creator of the Periodic Table, Dmitri Mendeleev, a Question and Experiment session with Periodic Table of Elements was organised at VITM Bangalore on 8th February 2024. Two students ftom class 9 of Army Public School Kamaraj Road Bangalore participated in the event.
Different chemical experiments like neutralisation, electrolysis, displacement and questions related to those experiments like to identify the gas, the products formed etc were conducted and demonstrated.

The participants of APS KAMARAJ won the SECOND PRIZE !!!!
