Organised by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, this FDP is designed to provide participants with a strong conceptual foundation and hands-on exposure to Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning.

Heartiest congratulations to CSUO Abhishek Pandey, ex-NCC cadet of NCC RVITM, National Shooter and 2025 CSE graduate, on being selected for the Indian Navy Short Service Commission – Aviation (Pilot).

With an All India Rank of 70, he will commence his training on 29 December 2025 at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. A historic milestone for our institution—he becomes the first NCC cadet from RVITM to join the Indian Navy as a Gentleman Cadet.

We wish him success as he takes flight in the service of the nation.

Heartiest congratulations to Prathik Talur, S. Shreyas Atnoor, and Pravigya Acharya (7th Sem ISE, RVITM) for winning the Best Research Paper Award at NCRIE-2025, held at K.S. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.

Their paper, “Implementation of Hybrid ML–Sentiment Driven Trading Recommendation System with Real-Time Market Data,” stands as a fine example of cutting-edge research in machine learning and data-driven finance, guided by Mrs. Nisha Wilvicta J., Assistant Professor, Dept. of ISE—a proud moment for RVITM.

RVITM proudly marked Kannada Rajyotsava—Samyama ’25 with a heartfelt celebration of Karnataka’s culture and values.
The festivities began on 14th November, 2025, with a lively banner and trailer launch, and a flash mob that set the tone for the event.
A meaningful blood donation camp was held on 17th November, 2025, in association with NCC RVITM, collecting 168 units of blood from students and staff.
On 20th November, 2025, the main ceremony welcomed Dr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, a renowned writer and filmmaker, and Mr. Badri Prasad, a playback singer, followed by flag hoisting and soulful cultural performances.
A celebration that brought our campus together in pride, culture and community!

Pradhaan M (1st year, ECE) and Aditya Jaiswal (3rd year, ECE) achieved a remarkable feat by winning a gold medal and a trophy in the State-level Table Tennis Competition held by CMRIT from 14th to 16th November, 2025.

Hearty congratulations to these students, and we encourage you to continue shining in both academics and sports!

On 16th and 17th October, 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, RVITM, organised the International Conference on Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies (ICDTE-2025).

The conference was inaugurated in the presence of the chief guest Dr. Venkatesh P. S., Global Director, Cognizant Technologies, Bengaluru, who set the tone of the event. Following the inauguration, Dr. Venkatesh Kumar Mohan, a distinguished academician and researcher, spoke on the latest advancements and emerging technologies.
The conference attracted around 500 research paper submissions, of which 386 papers were selected for presentation and possible publication under the Springer Book Series.

The conference concluded successfully with active participation from the faculty, scholars and the students, marking yet another significant milestone for RVITM!
