It was a pleasure meeting and listening to H.E. Juan Carlos Marsan Aguilera, Ambassador of Cuba 🇨🇺 to India at INSTITUTE OF SPANISH STUDIES, JP Nagar, Bengaluru. His excellency was in Bangalore for various events to celebrate 100 Years of Fidel and to have important meetings for collaborations with the Government of Karnataka in the field of healthcare care, biotechnology and tourism sectors. He along with the First Secretary Ms. Maiky Diaz Perez spoke to us about the current situation of Cuba, India’s support and collaboration with Cuba at various international platforms including in the United nations and Bricks. The Ambassador shared this information that Cuba will have a Tourism Desk in Bangalore and the direct flights to Havana from Istanbul are going to be resumed from October 2026. It was an opportunity for the ISS community to hear from the Ambassador about Cuba, Fidel and the growing support of international community against the economic, energy and all other forms of blockade against Cuban people. Cuba is not alone. El pueblo cubano jamás sera vencido !
