"Forgiveness — Rising Above the Ego"
From the teachings of Sadguru Gurudev Sadhu Shri Ji
Sadguru Gurudev Sadhu Shri Ji says:
“When you fight or argue with someone, you become equal to them.
But when you forgive them, you rise above — and become more than them.”
In the journey of life, we are often faced with situations where people hurt us, oppose us, insult us, or misunderstand us.
The mind reacts.
It says — “Argue. Defend yourself. Prove them wrong.”
But Sadguru reminds us...
To argue is easy.
To forgive is divine.
When you fight, you fall to the same level.
You may win the argument — but you lose your inner peace.
You may be right — but you feed your ego.
Sadguru Gurudev Sadhu Shri Ji teaches:
“Forgiveness is not weakness.
Forgiveness is strength — quiet, still, and fearless.”
To forgive does not mean that the other person was right.
It means you have chosen peace over pride.
You have chosen your soul over your ego.
Think:
When you argue — what are you really protecting?
Not the truth.
Not the situation.
But your image, your position, your ‘I’.
And Sadguru asks:
“Is your peace so cheap that you will trade it for a few words?”
“Is your silence so weak that it cannot stand before someone’s noise?”
No, dear ones.
Forgiveness is not about the other.
It is about you.
It is your choice to not allow their ignorance to disturb your inner light.
It is your decision to say:
“I will not carry the burden of this pain any longer.”
“I am free.”
That is the power of forgiveness.
