Our method is simple and clear: Stick to the Qur'an, and of course the Sunnah. Islam is more than a religion, it is a way of life. In this world today, it is very easy

One of those killed at the Islamic Center of San Diego has been identified as Amin Abdullah, who was a security guard at the mosque.

On one of his last posts on Facebook, he wrote: “What is success?
To many people success is financial stability, good reputation, beauty etc.

As for ME! Wallahi, thumma Wallahi, it is returning back to Allah OUR creator with the same pure soul he loaned me at birth.
Having the Malaikah of Allahu ta’ala saying “don’t fear and don’t grieve, but receive the glad tidings of Jannah which you were promised by the Most forgiving and Most Merciful”. May Allahu ta’ala grant us Husnal Khatimah, AAAAMEEEEN.”

May Allah have mercy on him and accept him as a shaheed. Aameen Aameen

The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are among the most beloved days to Allah.

A chance to increase in worship, seek forgiveness, and draw closer to Him before Eid arrives.
May Allah allow us to make the most of these blessed days. Ameen

The greatest day for Dua is upon us; ARAFAH!

You’ll see pictures of thousands of pilgrims standing for hours under the baking sun, Just calling upon their Lord.

It makes you wonder- “they have all that energy for Dua, how can I do the same?”

Here’s 3 small stories to inspire you to go beyond this Arafah:

1. Yunus (A.S) was in the belly of the whale, in the depth of the ocean, in the darkness of night,

And his first instinct was to call on the only one who could hear him in that darkness:

لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
“There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except You. Glory be to You! I have certainly done wrong.”
[Quran 21:87]

Sometimes it might feel like you’re consumed by darkness in your life.

Stress, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy…But despite all of that, the simplest call you can make will always get a response.

Don’t let your baggage weigh you down this Arafah, just make that call!

2. Ka’ab bin Malik (R.A) was overwhelmed with guilt when he missed the call for battle.

But instead of making excuses, he chose to repent.

And this is how Allah (S.W.T) describes that beautiful repentance:

ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
Then, Allah enables whomsoever He wills to repent. Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful.
[Quran 9:27]

Allah forgave before Ka’ab could ask for forgiveness, Because our ability to make Dua comes from His inspiration.

The fact that you have even an inkling of desire to ask, means He (S.W.T) is ready to respond.

So ask away, because your Lord wants to respond.

3. This last story is everyday Muslims like you and me…

And the conversation Allah has about us:

There is no day when God sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of 'Arafah. He draws near, then praises them to the angels, saying: “What do these servants want?”
[Sahih Muslim]

Right now Allah is looking upon you, me, those thousands of hujjajAnd He (S.W.T) already know our deepest desires inside and out, But out of His mercy, He is still ready to hear us out.

You wouldn’t walk up to a king and ask for a penny, So likewise when you ask of Allah today, think big.

⚠️ STOP wasting your energy in Muzdalifah
This is where many pilgrims get it wrong.

You arrive from Arafah already exhausted…
but instead of resting, people:

❌ stay awake
❌ scroll their phone
❌ walk around
❌ talk for hours

And the next day?
They crash in Mina.

👉 The Sunnah is clear:
Pray Maghrib + Isha (combined)
Then rest.

The Prophet ﷺ prayed Maghrib and Isha,
then rested during the night, and woke for Fajr.

Not because it’s easy…
but because what comes next is harder.

👉 Reality you need to understand:

Mina is not light.

You will walk. You will wait. You will face crowds and heat.

If you waste your energy here… you will feel it there.

👉 What smart pilgrims do:

• Pray → collect pebbles → rest
• Keep your phone away
• Don’t over-socialize
• Protect your energy

👉 Muzdalifah is not about doing more.
👉 It’s about preparing.

Hajj doesn’t drain the unfit…
it drains the unprepared.

Save this before Hajj 🤍
