"At the Campus to Career Summit organised by the Higher Education Department at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru, Karnataka Chief Minister Sri Siddaramaiah highlighted Karnataka’s commitment to building future-ready universities and colleges that connect education with employment.

Karnataka’s growth story is built on decades of investment in education, institution-building and human capital. With a GSDP of ₹30.7 lakh crore, record services exports, 875 Global Capability Centres in Bengaluru, and the highest higher-education reach in the country with 66 colleges per lakh population, our state has shown that education is the foundation of economic progress.

But access alone is not enough. A degree must lead to skills, confidence, employment, entrepreneurship and dignified livelihoods. Through initiatives like Yuva Nidhi, industry-linked internships, modern skill training, and our Industrial Policy targeting 20 lakh jobs, we are bridging the gap between campus and career.

The proposed ₹40,000 crore KWIN City will further strengthen Karnataka’s future-ready economy by bringing together knowledge, wellness, innovation and opportunities near Bengaluru.

Vision Digital India to Launch World’s First AI-Powered Digital University at KWIN City

Vision Digital India is set to revolutionize education with the launch of the world’s first Digital University, powered by cutting-edge AI technology, offering Advanced STEM programs in 50 languages. This groundbreaking initiative was presented by Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, Founder Chairman of Vision Digital India, at a high-level meeting during the Global Investors’ Conference to Karnataka's Chief Minister, Shri Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri DK Shivakumar, Minister of Large & Medium Industries, Sri MB Patil, Higher Education Minister, Dr. M C Sudhakar, and Medical Education & Skills Minister, Dr. Sharanaparakash Rudrappa Patil.

The initiative will be part of the ambitious KWIN City project, a premier education hub set to generate an investment of approximately Rs 40,000 crore. Spanning 5,800 acres, the KWIN City will accommodate 500,000 residents and is strategically located near Kempegowda International Airport and the Bengaluru-Pune Greenfield Expressway. The project aims to transform Karnataka's business landscape and foster a new era of education and innovation.
