IT careers are changing faster than most college syllabuses can keep up with. The real question is whether our graduates are changing fast enough to keep pace.
JayathiSoft recently joined an AI & ML webinar and workshop held with SanRadiance Technologies, featuring Mr Praveen S, MD of SanRadiance Technologies, at Royal Orchid Hotels, Shivamogga.
The session covered the shifting IT landscape, where AI and ML are actually creating opportunity, what industry now expects from freshers walking in the door, and the specific skill gaps that keep showing up between what's taught and what's needed on the job.
One point from Mr Praveen S landed with the room: a degree gets your career started, but what you keep learning after that is what actually decides how far it goes.
For students and freshers, hearing that directly from someone hiring and building teams in the industry lands differently than hearing it in a classroom. Sessions like this are where academic learning, industry expectations, and real career openings actually meet.
