Kindergartens celebrated Raksha Bandhan - The bond between a brother and sister which is unique and beyond description in words. Children made beautiful rakhi using different materials. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side and enhanced their fine motor skills.

It was indeed a fun filled activity and we witnessed an enthusiastic participation from all the kids and parents.

Since it's festival time, we wear new clothes and eat a lot of sweets by sharing with family and friends. Our kindergarten kids celebrated the Onam festival too by narrating a story of King Mahabali and children were told the importance of this festival. In LKG children are introduced to letters with name, action and sound. To reinforce the letter we do different activities like rava tracing, rainbow tracing, sticking pista shells on the letter and also forming letters in atta. Clever cat is a tool that allows the children to write within a four line, thereby making writing fun.

A weather chart is a fun way to teach a child to know about the weather. It helps the child to think and analyze by looking around. It is also an important tool to set a regular routine for the children. In Nursery, the children made their own weather chart, learnt to identify the weather and point it in the weather chart as a daily routine.
