Here comes another bonanza! 🎉♟️

Dhruv has once again made all of us extremely proud with his outstanding performance in the recently concluded Karnataka State Under-7 Chess Championship.

He secured an impressive 5th position with 6.5/9 points and surprised everyone with his remarkable progress, especially considering that his chess journey with Junior Masters began just around 15 months ago.

In this short span, Dhruv has already earned his Rapid FIDE Rating and is all set to secure his Classical FIDE Rating in the first week of June as well. With the kind of dedication, focus, and improvement he is showing, we are confident that he will make Karnataka proud in the upcoming National Under-7 Championship to be held in Nagpur in the last week of June.

Fingers crossed for many more milestones ahead! 🤞

Congratulations Saiprasad on your impressive performance in the Unpuzzle Club Age Category Chess Tournament conducted in Bangalore on 24th May!

He scored 3/5 points and secured 6th position in his category. What makes this achievement even more special is that Sai has only recently started his competitive chess journey and is already showing great promise with his improving focus, fighting spirit, and understanding of the game.

It is wonderful to see his potential beginning to reflect in the very early stages itself, and this is surely just the beginning of many strong performances ahead.

Congratulations to Daksh on his extraordinary performance at the recently conducted D K Shivakumar Chess Cup – Open Rapid Chess Tournament on 15th May @ Bangalore

Daksh, an unrated U-11 player, was the only young player among the top seeds and delivered a phenomenal performance by scoring 7/9 points while defeating several rated players. Had this been a FIDE-rated tournament, this performance would have easily earned him a rating of 1700+.

Scoring 7/9 in an open category at such a young age is truly remarkable and speaks volumes about his talent, fighting spirit, and maturity over the board. Daksh has been training with Junior Masters for less than two years, yet he has already created an impact that many players take several years to achieve. He also received a cash prize of Rs 800 !!

As a coach, performances like these are incredibly special and memorable. Daksh not only surprised everyone but also gave one of the proudest moments of my chess teaching journey.

Congratulations once again, Daksh! Wishing you all the very best for your upcoming FIDE tournaments. A rising star and definitely a player to watch out for in the future!

Congratulations, Arihaan, on your excellent performance in the Warriors of the Board Rapid Chess Tournament held in Ghaziabad on 16th May 2026!

He played some excellent games and deservedly received a medal for his strong performance. This is just the beginning of a wonderful chess journey ahead, especially with the keen interest and sharp understanding of the game that he already possess.

Once again, Junior Masters is proud to share that Dhruv has secured 1st Prize in U7 category in the CHESS KLUB All India FIDE Rated Rapid Chess Tournament, held in Bangalore on 29th March 2026, with an excellent score of 6/9.

This achievement is a reflection of his dedication, consistent effort, and the strong training foundation built at Junior Masters. His performance and fighting spirit throughout the tournament were truly commendable.

Adding to this special moment, Dhruv had the opportunity to meet and take a photograph with Grandmaster Thejkumar, making the achievement even more memorable.

Back-to-back 2026 bonanza for Junior Masters! ♟️🎉

Dhruv has achieved his international FIDE rating of 1489 — a milestone that deserves to be celebrated and narrated with pride.

Dhruv began his journey with Junior Masters roughly 8 months ago, with only a basic understanding of chess. His mother discovered Junior Masters through a simple Google search and reached out to me, asking whether we offered offline classes. When I mentioned that we run only online programs, she was understandably unsure.

I told her something I genuinely believe — it’s never about online vs offline; it’s always about good coaching vs not-so-good coaching.

She trusted us and decided to begin this journey with Junior Masters.

And today, in less than 9 months, a boy not yet 7 years old has achieved an international FIDE rating — a truly remarkable feat.

Dhruv, what an incredible journey this has been.
