The institution places on record its sincere appreciation for Prof. Sridhar H R, who concludes his association with the College on 31 December 2025, after 15+ years of committed service as an Assistant Professor.

During his tenure, Prof. Sridhar H.R. contributed consistently to teaching, student development, and departmental functioning.

He also played a significant role in co-curricular and academic initiatives, particularly in organizing inter-collegiate management fest - QUEST, which enhanced student engagement and institutional outreach.

As Prof. Sridhar HR transitions to the next phase of his professional journey, the management, faculty, and students of BMS College of Engineering extend their best wishes to him.💐

The department is organizing a 3 day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research Methodology and Data Analysis using JAMOVI” from December 4th to 6th, 2025 (Offline), at the BMSCE Campus, Basavanagudi, Big Bull Temple Road, Bengaluru.

This FDP offers hands-on experience in:
• Descriptive and inferential statistics
• Reliability and normality analysis
• Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis (EFA & CFA)
• Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)
• Mediation and moderation analysis
• Data management, cleaning, transformation, and visualization
• Interpretation and reporting of results aligned with Scopus/WoS journal standards

We are proud to announce that the badminton team from our institution secured the runners-up position in the VTU Inter-Zone State level Inter-Collegiate Badminton tournament. Our student from 4th semester Tejas Gowda was part of the team and has immensely contributed for this achievement. We congratulate Tejas and the entire team on this phenomenal achievement.

We are thrilled to share the news that our student from 2nd semester MBA, Ms.Tejaswini Prabhu won the Gold Medal (under 47kg category) in the 'VTU State Level Power Lifting Championship 2024-25' organized on 10th & 11th July 2024. The total lift was 180 kgs. We congratulate her on this incredible achievement !

We are sharing with mixed emotions that on 29th June 2024, we bid farewell to Dr. Sivaraman Manoharan from the department. He has been an integral part of our team and led the department as the HOD contributing immensely towards the pursuit of our Vision.
We wish Dr.Manoharan the very best in his future endeavors !
