⚡ Why is an ammeter connected in series? And why is its resistance kept very low?
In this Class 10 Electricity lesson, we understand the reasoning behind these important concepts instead of simply memorising them. 🔋💡
🔹 An ammeter is connected in series so that the same current flows through it and the component.
🔹 Its resistance is kept very low so that it does not significantly change the circuit current.
🔹 Using Ohm’s Law, I = V/R, we can understand why a high-resistance ammeter would affect the current we are trying to measure.
