A very special performance at our Muzigal HRBR Student Showcase held on 23 August 2026 by veteran drummer and percussionist Ramesh J.

Ramesh sir's musical journey began at the age of seven, playing rhythms on kitchen utensils, and went on to take him across stages in India and more than 25 countries. Over the years, he has performed with legendary artists including S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Asha Bhosle, K. S. Chithra, K. J. Yesudas, Manna Dey, Hamsalekha, Gurukiran and Sivamani, and has also won multiple Best Drummer Awards.

For our students, this was much more than a drum performance. It was an opportunity to watch an accomplished musician up close and to see what passion, perseverance and decades of dedication to one’s craft can achieve.

We are grateful to Ramesh sir for spending time with our young musicians and inspiring them through the sheer energy and joy of his performance. 🥁
