“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow”. —Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
Every year 14 November is celebrated as Children’s Day to pay tribute to our former Prime Minister, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, for his contribution to building the nation. It is a day celebrating the spirit of childhood. To make this event a memorable one, for our little SAPSIANS, the Staff of St. Antony's Public School celebrated the occasion exquisitely on the 14th of November 2021. The entire programme was put together with the motive of entertaining the kids.
The programme commenced with lighting the lamp ceremony. Dances on a medley of children’s favourite songs by the teaching & Non- Teaching Staff delighted the young audience. The teachers’ dance lent a special liveliness to the show. To amp up the day a skit performed by the Staff about the different stages of Children's growth in their school years was a total fun-filled programme.
The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the occasion. They greatly appreciated the efforts of the Staff of SAPS & the Management for entertaining them.

St. Antony's Public School celebrated the 65th Kannada Rajyotsava Day in school on November 1st, 2021 with a splendid programme. The students prayed for the State and depicted the glory of Karnataka in speech and dances.
Extravaganzas like Fancy Dress on Kannada poets, writers, freedom fighters along with folk songs and mono acting in Kannada were held to foster a love for Karnataka among our students. It was heartwarming to see the enthusiasm of the teaching and non-teaching staff in this programme.

On Saturday; 2nd October 2021 St. Antony's Public School celebrated the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Sr. Katherine Rebello and addressed the gathering with a meaningful and thought-provoking speech. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate Mahatma’s life and his teachings. Gandhian ideas were depicted through various cultural programmes which the students presented most explicitly.
All our Students were imbibed with Gandhian values and thoughts and vowed to follow them in their lives ahead. As Indians, we should feel proud of the great leaders who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our nation and realize the true meaning of patriotism.

Dear all,
The Investiture Ceremony of St. Antony's Public School was held with great pomp and dignity where the newly elected office bearers took pledge to hold the school motto of 'Compassion, Character & Values' in high esteem on 17th September 2021. It was a solemn occasion where all the young students prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. Our school acknowledged the budding young leaders and reposed our trust in them. The council members and prefects marched spritely and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to receive their honours.
Manager & Correspondent Rev. Fr. Prashanth MSFS handed over the flags. Principal Ms Katherine Rebello pinned the badges. The captains and the prefects administered the oath with a promise that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence.
