Our newest purchase is the collage workshops for kids book recommended by .
We got a bottle of honey packed in an egg carton kind of box. Arya immediately started breaking it apart and i immediately started getting her Art Cart ready.
She made her own house through collage and named it ‘The Tunl’.

Did a quick number activity.
JOIN THE DOTS

This was such a great activity to practice numbers, addition, counting…

For us it was also about creativity as arya designed each of her boxes 😄

The activity is simple:
🎲 Roll the dice
✍️ Draw those many boxes
👯Each player gets a turn
🧮Game ends when all the grid is filled
🏆The player to get the maximum boxes wins.

Must try with kindergarteners and elementary kids.

This is my to help your little one fall in love with the language.

I have followed them with Arya. She started talking at 8 months and today she has a great vocab for a 5 year old.

These are great ways to build some love for the language in your kids. Try them out!

Easter Eggs anybody!!

Our activity this year for Easter is making air dry clay eggs and decorating them.

I cut out an egg stencil and Arya cut our clay in shape.

She brushed the cracked surface to make it a bit smooth.

And then coloured them with our acrylic colour markers by

She has decided on making them key rings later on and gifting them to her friends.

It’s Spring time!!

Time to bring out our Spring Lesson Plan!
Today’s topic was BUGs.

-We made a big sensory tray
-We guessed how many body parts each of the buffs have.
-We read some amazing facts about bugs from our Book of Brilliant BUGS.
-Arya read some lines from Beth and the Bugs phonics book

You must try out this set up and if you are looking for help planning a lesson plan for your little one DM me.

I found Sensory play extremely helpful in bringing up my highly energetic single child.

Over time she’s learnt how to play independently.
Learnt many new concepts easily.
And how to compose herself after a mega meltdown.

👇🏼 Do share in comments, your concerns or reasons that are stopping you from making sensory play a big part of your kids lives.
