What is B.Voc?
B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) is a regular 3 years degree recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission of India).

Why B.Voc?
Vocational, or skills-based, education is becoming more significant in today’s perspective as industry expecting new employees to have all the practical skills they need to start work. B.Voc course is to enhance employment opportunities by focussing on industry-related courses that impart 60% practical training, 40% theoretical knowledge.

Validity & Scope of B.Voc :
As per the UGC D.O.No.F.2-7 l20r 4(CC/NVEQF)/Misc. dated 04.08.2016, the validity and scope of the programme is as under: Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.), a Bachelor level degree specified by UGC under section 22(3) of UGC Act, 1956 and notified in official Gazette of India dated 19th January 2013 be recognised at par with the other Bachelor level degrees for competitive exams conducted by Union/State Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission or other such bodies where the eligibility criteria is "Bachelor Degree in any discipline".
