Through the quiet summer days, the empty corridors held echoes of conversations unfinished, playgrounds waited for running feet, and classroom walls patiently guarded memories from the year gone by.

And then came that magical moment on Wednesday 3rd June 2026. NPS Hosur Road welcomed its students back for a new academic year 2026-27.

-The gates unbolted.
-Backpacks returned.
-Laughter filled the air.
-Excitement gleamed.
-Cheerful energy vibrated.
-Dreams and Talents walked through the school door.

A new academic year is not merely the turning of a calendar page, it is the arrival of hundreds of unwritten stories, waiting to be discovered one lesson, one friendship, one challenge, and one triumph at a time.

As we welcomed our students back, NPS Hosur Road celebrated the resolution to begin again, to learn again, to dream bigger than before. Our teachers are excited to inspire, guide, and walk alongside each child on their journey of learning and growth.

Strengthening the School–Parent Partnership for Academic Success

National Public School – Hosur Road successfully conducted a series of Parent Orientation Sessions for Grades 9 to 12, marking the commencement of the Academic Year 2026–27.

The sessions were designed to familiarize parents with the academic curriculum, school processes, CBSE updates, assessment patterns, and expectations for the year ahead. Recognizing the importance of these crucial academic years, the orientation focused on strengthening the partnership between the school and parents in supporting students’ growth and success.

Key aspects such as academic support systems, mentoring initiatives, study strategies, and effective preparation techniques were discussed to help parents gain a deeper understanding of their child’s learning journey and developmental milestones.

An interactive Question-and-Answer session provided parents with an opportunity to seek clarifications and address their concerns. The discussions reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing continuous guidance, personalized mentoring, and comprehensive support to enable every student to achieve his or her fullest potential.

The sessions concluded on a positive and encouraging note, with parents expressing appreciation for the school’s dedication towards academic excellence, student well-being, and holistic development.

Celebrating Values, Not Just a Festival | Ram Navami at NPS-HRD

On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the staff and students of NPS-HRD came together to celebrate not just a festival, but the timeless values of Lord Rama-values that continue to guide generations.

The day served as a meaningful reminder for our students to reflect on:
-Righteousness and integrity in thought and action
-Respect for family, elders, and traditions
-The eternal truth of good triumphing over evil

A thoughtful and engaging session by Dr. Chithra encouraged students to connect these ideals with their everyday choices, nurturing a deeper understanding of character and responsibility.

In the spirit of the season, students were also served traditional prasadam-buttermilk, kosambari, and jaggery-based panakam, promoting awareness of culturally rooted, health-conscious practices.

At NPS-HRD, we strive to go beyond academics, instilling values, building character, and shaping compassionate individuals.

At National Public School Hosur Road, every opportunity to participate is a step toward growth and confidence. Throughout the academic year, our students from Grades 1 to 5 enthusiastically participated in a variety of Inter-Class Competitions, showcasing their creativity, talent, teamwork, and spirit of healthy competition.

We are proud to share that nearly 200 certificates were awarded to recognize and appreciate the winners. Each certificate represents not only achievement but also the courage to try, learn, and shine.
