Curricula 101 was a vision come true for the Earthlings founders, as a powerhouse of leaders from promising & prominent schools in North Bangalore came together in a panel discussion to unpack the various mainstream curricular approaches on offer.
With representation from the CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE & mixed curricular schools this was exclusive to the Earthlings community and what a special morning it was!
At Earthlings we take our food very seriously & to have a panelist use the popular biryani and its various forms as an analogy for curricular approaches certainly tickled our fancy.
The overarching takeway? Pick a school that aligns with your values as a family, best suits your parenting approach and offers a versatile learning environment to account for your ever evolving little!

Inspired by the fun our kids have with our ponds at Earthlings Early Years, we thought it would be fun to give it a go at home. The result? Hours of messy fun, chortles of pure glee, complex plots and planned ambushes, not to mention the even more fun clean up bit with soap and water and those mucky toys!

Pro tips:
1. Have your child pick the animals and plants that go into the pond, guiding them on which ones are likely to inhabit it
2. Encourage them to create a story around the animals that live there
3. Have them move the animals under or over the water in the way they would normally (prepare for spashes and more giggles!)
4. For older children, introduce the idea of the pond as an ecosystem
