It finally happened! The batch of 2019 of Harsha Institute of Physiotherapy and Harsha Institute of Allied Health Sciences graduated on the 27th of July, 2024. Here are a few pictures from their graduation ceremony held at the Harsha Institutions- Phase 1 campus!

Harsha institute of physiotherapy collaborated with Harsha international public on the below topic to raise awareness and educate school children on posture. Dr. Prem Venkatesan emphasized the importance of ergonomic principles in maintaining good posture, highlighting the significance of proper lifting techniques and workspace organization for school and college students. Through interactive workshops and educational materials, the collaboration aimed to empower young individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent musculoskeletal issues and promote overall well-being. By focusing on ergonomics and posture awareness, the initiative sought to instill healthy habits early on and create a positive impact on the future health of students.

Victory College of Nursing, a division of Harsha Institutions, hosted a guest lecture on Leadership and Management in Nursing. The lecture focused on integrating Leadership and Management in the nursing field. The event took place on July 4th at 10.00 AM in the Auditorium, HI Phase - 2. The guest speaker was Lt. Col. Suma K S (Retd), General Manager (Nursing) at Apollo Hospital.

Harsha institute of physiotherapy and allied health sciences In collaboration with Rotary club Nelamangala, and Narayana hrudayalaya blood bank Bommasandra conducted today (01.07.2024) Physiotherapy camp and Blood donation camp and blood check up camp at Basavanadevara Matta. The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the local community and raise awareness about the importance of regular check-ups and blood donation. Patients were able to receive physiotherapy treatments, donate blood, and undergo health screenings all in one convenient location. The collaborative effort between the institute, Rotary club, and blood bank ensured a successful and impactful event for all participants involved.

Final year BPT students participated in the 3rd Annual Conference held at NIMHANS, Bangalore. The conference focused on raising awareness, providing care, and managing Motor Neuron Disease. Experts from various medical fields shared their research findings and insights on the latest treatment options for this debilitating condition. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops and panel discussions to enhance their understanding of Motor Neuron Disease. Overall, the conference was a valuable learning experience for both students and healthcare professionals looking to make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.

Harsha College of Pharmacy rallies to spread awareness on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (26/06/2024). Let’s stand together for a healthier, drug-free future! The event featured guest speakers discussing the impact of drug abuse on individuals and communities, emphasizing the importance of prevention and support. Students and faculty participated in educational workshops and interactive activities to promote a better understanding of the dangers associated with drug abuse. Through these efforts, the college aims to empower individuals to make informed choices and lead healthier lives free from the harmful effects of drugs.

Harsha College of Nursing efficiently conducted and concluded the required module on "Advanced First Aid & BLS" workshop for the BSc (N) semester students in collaboration with STARS Health Care Academy, featuring the esteemed speaker Mr. Shashi Kumara H S, on 17/06/2024 at Harsha Institutions.

Victory College of Nursing - A unit of Harsha Institutions has effectively coordinated and concluded the module on "First Aid & BLS" workshop for the BSc (N) 2nd semester students in collaboration with New on Board Health Care, featuring the esteemed speaker Dr. Gopinath Desai Prasad on 20 & 21 June 2024 at Harsha Phase-2 Campus.
