We are thrilled to announce a spontaneous, high-energy event happening this SATURDAY: The REVA TRACKathon 2nd edition!!
This is not just another hackathon; it’s a Learnathon. This episode will focus on the ultimate AI tool - to automate your tasks using AI agent skills!
The best part? No prior knowledge / skill needed - Only the enterprising attitude to show up!!! We will have mentors to assist you in your tasks you plan in case you get stuck, or in case you need to understand what’s possible.
Students, Faculty and Staff can team up! You can work solo, or form cross-disciplinary, mixed teams to Learn and Create something truly unique.
💡 What Can You Do?
The goal is to automate workflows using AI such as grading assignments or creating question banks or processing resumes or preparing for AAA audit
Your imagination is the limit!!!
📅 Event Details:
Date: Saturday, May 9th, 2026
Time: Part of Full 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You need to be at the venue for at least 1 hour during this period. You can continue the TRACKathon and your other scheduled activities in the departments. We will go by your deliverables and not by attendance!!
Final Demo and Celebration: 3:30 to 4:30 PM: Showcase what you have build in person as well as on REVA AI Hub
Awards: All those who showcase a significant contribution will be given a certificate!
Venue: CNR Rao Hall, C V Raman Block
Who can join: All REVA students, faculty, staff, alumni and parents (Teams preferred, but can work solo as well)

🎉 Proud Achievement – Global Recognition!
We are delighted to announce that Prajwal R Hawaldar, a 6th Semester student from the Department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE), REVA University, has been selected for the prestigious Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 program.
Out of more than 15,000 applicants from 131 countries, only 1,284 contributors representing 68 countries were selected worldwide—making this an exceptionally competitive accomplishment.
Prajwal will be contributing to MLAM with his project titled “Flexible Graph Construction”, demonstrating his strong expertise in cutting-edge technologies and open-source development.
👏 We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prajwal on this remarkable global achievement and wish him continued success in all his future endeavors.

On behalf of School of Computer Science and Engineering, we are delighted to share a proud moment for REVA University!
For the first time, one of our student teams has emerged as the Winner (1st Prize – ₹1,50,000) at the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 – Grand Finale (Software Edition) held on 8th & 9th December 2025 at Bathinda, Punjab.
