Anime: Ranking of Kings
I've been wanting to watch this for so long. I've been so curious as to why almost everyone was saying this was such a good anime.
Is it the weak main character? That's nothing new. Is it the seemingly innocent art style that acts as a mask for its deep plot? could be. Is it actually a combination of those two and something more? Yes. 😉
All I can say is that it was very misleading. The fun parts for me while watching it were: guessing who among the royal courtiers were the traitors and who were actually rooting for Bojji to be the King; guessing who were the creatures/people that helped Bojji to be stronger; and guessing whether Hiling is an evil stepmom or an extremely protective mom (it's my first time seeing a tsundere mom).
I also like the idea of ranking the kings from different kingdoms based on different attributes. I wonder if it's possible to rank our world leaders that way as well 😅.
It reminds me of Dororo because the father used his son for his own gain, and Vinland Saga because of the medieval setting.
For me, the ending is not that much of a cliffhanger, but I still want more.
Any news about season 2?
Thoughts?
