The Department of Management Studies, DSATM, successfully organized an insightful workshop on “Navigating the Future of HR: AI Transformation, Modern Operations & the Power of Empathy in the 2026 Workforce Landscape.”
The session was led by Ms. Sahana H.S., Lead – People Relations & Compliance, Flipkart, who shared valuable perspectives on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the Human Resources function while emphasizing the continued importance of empathy, people-centric leadership, and meaningful workplace relationships.
Students gained practical insights into the evolving HR landscape, emerging workforce trends, modern people operations, compliance practices, and the critical role of technology in shaping the future of talent management.

Inspiring Future Engineers through Industry Exposure
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, organized an Industrial Visit to the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), ISRO, Bengaluru for the 4th Semester students, providing them with a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to India’s premier space research and satellite development center.
This educational visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world technological applications through:
✅ Exposure to advanced satellite technologies and space missions
✅ Understanding of spacecraft design, development, and testing processes
✅ Interaction with experts and scientists from the space research domain
✅ Insights into cutting-edge innovations in communication and aerospace technologies

🏆 Faculty Research Achievement
Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM) is pleased to congratulate Dr. Rajesh L, Associate Professor, Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE), on his noteworthy research contribution in the field of wireless network security and machine learning.
Dr. Rajesh L presented his research paper titled “An Adaptive Machine Learning Framework for Detection and Mitigation of Rogue Access Points (RAPs) in WLAN” at the 10th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology for Competitive Strategies (ICTCS-2025) held in Jaipur, India, from 15–17 December 2025.
The research has subsequently been published in “Intelligent Strategies for ICT”, part of the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems, Volume 1894, in May 2026.
This accomplishment highlights the growing importance of intelligent and adaptive approaches in addressing contemporary cybersecurity challenges and reflects the commitment of our faculty towards advancing research that contributes to technological innovation and academic excellence.

The NSS Unit of Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM), in collaboration with Sagar Hospitals, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 5 June 2026, reaffirming its commitment to community service and social responsibility.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty, and staff, resulting in the collection of nearly 76 units of blood. The enthusiastic participation reflected a shared commitment to supporting healthcare needs and contributing to a cause that has the potential to save countless lives.
Blood donation is one of the most meaningful acts of service, and initiatives such as these play a vital role in creating awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and community welfare.

🌐 Two-Day Workshop on “Enterprise Network Layer Solutions: Practical Approach”
The Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE), Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM), successfully conducted a two-day workshop on “Enterprise Network Layer Solutions: Practical Approach” for 4th Semester students on 22 and 23 May 2026.
The workshop was organized in the presence of Dr. Nandini Prasad K S, Dean – Foreign Affairs and Head of the Department, ISE, and was coordinated by Dr. Vanajaroselin Chirchi, Dr. Rajesh L, and Mrs. Kavyashree G M from the Department of ISE.
The sessions were led by Mr. Deepak V Kulkarni, Senior Engineering Manager, Infinera (Nokia), who shared valuable industry perspectives on enterprise networking technologies, network layer solutions, and their practical implementation in real-world environments.
The workshop provided students with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of enterprise network infrastructures, industry practices, and emerging trends in networking. Through interactive sessions and practical insights, participants enhanced their knowledge of concepts that play a vital role in modern communication and network systems.
